Pumpkin Moist Bread

Ingredients

36ogm SECRET BARN Pumpkin Powder
120gm flour
½ teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1 teaspoon tartar cream
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons
1 teaspoon salt
200gm castor sugar
4 eggs (Grade B)
1 cup fresh milk
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions

1. Preheat oven at 175C. Butter a 9-inch × 5-inch cake pan with margarine. Set aside.
2. Prepare a mixing bowl, combine SECRET BARN Pumpkin Powder, flour, bicarbonate soda, baking soda, 5 spices powder and salt.
3. Prepare a larger mixing bowl. Combine castor sugar, vegetable oil, tartar cream and eggs. Beat them together until fluffy.
4. Add the fresh milk and flour mixture partially into the eggs mixture then fold until incorporated.
5. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and bake for 50 minutes. Poke the cake with a wooden toothpick to check whether the cake is totally bake.

You can called it bread or cake..up to you.

Are low GI foods healthier??

According to NHS Choices UK, Glycaemic index shows how fast each food affects blood sugar level when the food is eaten on its own. 
Low GI foods such as fruits, vegetables and lentils are foods we should take for healthy diet. But it’s not fair to decide only low GI foods good for our body. Food with high GI not necessarily bad and not all low GI food are healthy. For example, banana and watermelon are high in GI while chocolate has lower GI.
If we only eat foods with low GI, our diet may be unbalanced and not healthy.
